It's insane in December - especially since we're all musicians.
So many holiday programs, concerts, extra rehearsals, and special performances.
I've counted 15 in the past 2 1/2 weeks.
Phew!
We have hardly had any time to even enjoy the spirit of Christmas that we're singing and playing about!

We're nearly at the end..... Friday is the younger kid's school choir concert, Saturday is the high schooler's holiday extravaganza (choir & band), and Monday is the final performance with all of mine & Akayla's students at the veterans home.
Today I have almost nothing (except the 12 things on my to-do-list, but that's practically nothing) so I picked up the Christmas Little House on the Prairie DVD.
My girls are going to LOVE it!!
I always thought I was just like Laura.
Now I think Annalisa is!

I love the Little House on the Prairie movies! We watched one Christmas one on VHS & have one more to go. I think reading about the Christmas where Laura just got a stick of candy & a tin cup from Santa from Mr. Edwards helps remind us how very blessed we are... and how much we could really live w/o and still be happy.
