This was one of the best nights I had this year, so even though it was several months ago I decided to publish it in our family blog......
I have never been so happy that I can play the viola as I was when Peter Cetera's music manager called me up to ask if I would play at his concert. They had their own band and orchestra coming but didn't have enough violas, so they got my name from a well-known musician here that happens to be Akayla's violin teacher. (She's awesome!) I had wanted to go to the concert really bad but the tickets were $70 each. I have always loved Peter Cetera and Chicago. I was intimidated at first by the professional musicians, but the other violist was great and we got along really well. It was so fun to play all those songs I've listened to for years! Peter (my good buddy now!) even came and talked to me! I had brought Akayla to babysit Ellie (Akayla had a great time outside the concert hall listening to the music) because we had a 4 hour rehearsal and I was worried about the baby (she was only a couple months old) and Peter came out and talked to Akayla and the baby. They gave Dave a free ticket and he had a blast. We both couldn't stop laughing about how crazy it was to not only see Peter Cetera, but I was playing with him! Someone I knew was in the audience and I ran into him during the intermission. He asked for my autograph because of course I'm famous now! Hee hee!
Can you see me in there?!

So Lucky! I'd give anything to see Peter Cetara.
I love your hair flipping around. hee hee
I never noticed until I heard it on the radio, but the song that Alexandrea Lushington sung for the Top 10 girls of American Idol, "If you leave me now" is a Chicago song! Ha Ha gotta love them.
I'm Rebecca even though the computer says that I'm my mom. Here's my comment, Wow! Lucky! I'd give anything to go to a concert where the tickets cost way more than they should!!!!!!
