first few days

The first few days of our trip consisted of........... driving, driving, and more driving.

It wasn't bad at all most of the time.

We watched movies, played games, and didn't have much fighting at all.

I brought lots of activities, and even school pages and books - so the kids had plenty to do.

We drove all the way to Iowa by Friday evening, and then we stopped at a KOA with a pool.  It was a nice place to stay, and it was nice to take a little break.

Saturday we only had about 6 hours to drive and for some reason our A/C and tv wouldn't work at all.  It was really hot and not very fun.

We were so ready to get out of the motor home!!

Dave's dad built the cutest little playhouse under the deck.  Adri went straight to work cleaning and organizing it, and all the older girls were very excited to try it out when it was all done.

Anna & Mariah have spent almost the entire time with the horses and their cousin Hailey!
