Dave spent much of his summer building our deck. If you know Dave well, you know he is extremely precise and such a perfectionist! It might take him longer than some to do a project, but when he's finished it is amazing! We had more friends over this summer than we have in the last 10 years. The deck felt like another room added to our house. We grilled several times a week. Dave goes out there every evening and every morning to just enjoy the fruits of his labors! You can see from the picture that our big project next year will be finishing our yard.......I'm glad summer's over!
Now that school has started, here is what Dave is up to.......
- lesson plans
- another semester of the masters program --online classes this time
- ping pong with the other 2 teachers at Century
- teaching our daughters friends from last year (Akayla will be there next year - crazy!)
- homework helper
- official picker-upper of the kids who have been dropped off at lessons
- playing in a trombone quartet
- less honey-do projects (no time *sniff *sniff)
- bishopric meetings and duties more regularly
- teaching & speaking at other wards (they're always asking the seminary teachers)
- basketball twice a week
- coming home happy from teaching the gospel!
good things:
the best job on the planet - the salary isn't the best, but the blessings compensate!
the best hubby ever!
a great deck that we can still enjoy for a few months

Yay Dave!
He is a very hard worker.
You're so lucky to have such a devoted husband, Ang.
It's amazing some of the things this family can pull off (When I say this, I mean yours.)
You really do have a great deck. Congragulations.
Dave did a great job on the deck! I love the table you put out there. I bet you'll be able to enjoy it through the Fall.
Good luck to Dave with another semester of the Masters program.
Busy, busy man! How do y'all do it? -Evelyn
