I know it's been awhile, so I'm doing a few posts today. Don't get too overwhelmed!
Dave has been talking about hiking to the top of the mountain that we see from our backyard since we moved here. The older kids are on Fall break now (more about that another time) and Dave had last Thursday and Friday off, so he finally decided he needed to do it! It is not a hike for younger kids, so he took the four oldest. (There's a small hike that I will take Anna and Mars on this weekend.) It only took them a couple of hours, and it was shady most of the way up. They loved all the Fall colors up there, and they loved looking down on the whole valley.
good things:
days off
girls and their princess hats
tough boys
coming home sore from a good hike

I miss leaves changing colors! That is okay though it is beautiful now until May.
So stinkin' fun. It's beautiful!
Wow, the background of the picture is so beautiful! I love that they've all got their arms around each other. It's so great to have brothers and sisters :)

Way too much fun!
Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. What's with you Ferrara's? I can't find any fun in hiking at all! It's worse than cleaning! And, you guessed it... that's why I'm overweight.
