4th of July -- Ferrara Style

I suppose it would be traditional to have burgers on the grill and watermelon on the 4th of July.........that's what we typically do.

This year we celebrated with Dave's brother Jim, his adorable wife Amber, and crazy little Jacob.

Jim served a mission in Mexico and he brought home some WOWWWW recipes.

We had grilled pork and chicken tacos with homemade corn tortillas and guacamole.

MMMMMMMMM!

So of course my very silly husband had to wear his poncho and sombrero that he picked up on our cruise last year.... (He's been dying to wear them) and he spoke spanish with an italian accent all night - funny!

And the fireworks were amazing as usual.

I love the music that goes along with the firework show. I sing along to everything and CRY as much as I want because my family all sits on top of the suburban to watch with their blankets (it gets very cold!).

good things:

America

my favorite holiday

fruit pizza (with blueberries and strawberries to look like a flag)

holding my friend's 2-day old baby boy

I love the music with the fireworks too- especially when I can watch & listen from the comfort of my own bedroom with a new baby.
