death in the family

My Bosch mixer that I have used (and loved might I add) daily for the past 10 years has finally kicked the bucket.

It served us very well.
It even died while trying to mix french bread dough while it was on its last turns.

This is a very sad day for our family.

I might actually have to buy a loaf of bread (gulp).

good things:
I like shiny new toys

store-bought bread is sure to encourage my husband to get me a shiny new toy

the blender still works so we can still have our breakfast smoothies

my condolences, these things happen for a reason you know, is a fact of life. Someday soon you will find happiness again with a new Bosch...lol!

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking about buying Bosch mixer or kitchen aid for my hubby. He has been making bread more now that we both took a bread making lesson from our friend through Pantry Secrets. Making bread in an hour is great. But, for the time being we just get the dough prepared by hand. I actually enjoy that. But, we don't make bread daily. I just cannot quite picture what it would be like to cook and bake every day. Hope you will get new Bosch soon.

My condolences to you and your family. Store bought bread certainly isn't as good as fresh warm homemade bread. Hope you get a new bosch soon! :)
