BIGGGG!!!

I remember when I was pregnant (17 years ago) with my first baby.

We were so excited when we first found out we'd be having a baby that we went straight to the store and bought a bunch of maternity clothes.

They sat in my closet for a long time.

I started wearing them when I was about 5 1/2 months along and I definitely didn't fill them out.

I asked my aunt if I looked pregnant and she said "no, not really",
and it totally hurt my feelings! I wanted the whole world to know I was expecting a baby!!

Fast forward........
Here I am pregnant with my 9th baby and I have to say things have really changed!!

I started looking pregnant the day I conceived (basically) and have just gotten bigger by the day.

I still have 9 weeks to go and people at church have already started asking if it's any day now.

I've decided that my tummy has an exceptionally good memory and has wanted to look 9 months pregnant for a couple months now.

At least I look pregnant and not just fat!

My husband and I just laugh about it - though it's a little embarrassing!
He says I should be proud of it! My belly just wants to "own" this pregnancy!

So in case you've seen me or will see me in the next 2 months....

when my belly is actually defying gravity - when you actually stare in amazement at the hugeness of it and wonder how it's possible that it doesn't fall to the ground because it sticks out so far...........

that's when it's time.

SO DON'T ASK UNTIL THEN!!

good things:

maternity belts

drumsticks (the yummy kind, not the noisy kind)

Sunday naps
