Who are you and what have you done with my son?

Tanner has surprised us so much in the past couple of months. He used to be a little stinker. It was so hard to get him to do anything we wanted him to do (school work, practicing, jobs, etc.). Since he has been going to the Academy he has become so responsible and pleasant to be around! Not only does he come home from school and do his homework right away, but he even wakes himself up with an alarm clock at 6:30 so he can take a shower, make his bed and sit on the heater while he reads his scriptures. In the evening he practices the piano with very little complaining and even does his jobs and helps with the little girls while I am teaching lessons. Even Tanner's teacher noticed a big change and awarded him with the Citizen of the Month for January. This is a very special honor at our school. The winner even gets to go out to lunch with the principal (who we LOVE! He is so awesome!), and they get special prizes throughout the rest of the year. We don't know where the old Tanner went, but we sure like this new Tanner!

As quoted by Dr. Seuss, "OH, the places you'll go!"

Man, if your kids continue to go to the academy, the only ones who'll be getting "Citizen of the Month" will be the Ferrara's!
