2 for 1

You get two posts in one this time............. PASTA!!!!

I have to get a good messy pasta face picture of each of my babies. Elli doesn't look very happy in the picture, but she was very happy while she was eating her food! (Anyone ever heard of a BIB?!!!) We all love nana's sauce recipe the best! It is the best sauce I have ever tasted. It takes many hours to make, so I usually make a HUGE pot of it (my double pressure canner size), and freeze several quarts for later. But sorry, it's a family secret so I can't share it! We also had stuffed artichokes last night (YUM!!!) Being married to an Italian man has opened my taste buds to many new adventures that I probably never would have tried. I'm so glad because I love it!
good things:
pasta
stuffed artichokes
Italian food
my hubby being so grateful when I make sauce
my kids loving artichokes too

Elli at 13 months

Since the last pictures were so nasty I thought I'd throw some nice pictures of Miss Elli on here. She is 13 months now and walking like a pro. She says hi to everybody (including the bugs outside) and she loves books (as you can see). She loves to take all the books from the bottom two shelves out and line them up in the living room. She likes to sing while she "reads" and she loves us to read little books with pop-ups to her. She also loves to get her clothes messy and run around half naked. She is full of life and quite a demanding little stinker!

good things:
starting 'em young loving books
naked chubby bellies
naptime
when she first wakes up, waves & says hi to me

Look at you! I stop reading your blog for like two days, and you have like 10 more posts!
Anyway, I love Elli!
She is so cute, even when she has that pained expression, or wrinkles her eyebrows.
I wish she knew me a little better, though, because she doesn't like me that well now. *frown*
(By the way, since I'm family, can I have your sauce recipe? J/K.)

That girl is smart! Reading books without pictures!!! I love, love that picture of her with her pasta face. I have a really cute pic. of Anna with her pasta face when she was a baby. I don't think I've seen the other kids pasta pictures, but I'm sure they are adorable also. M.

I agree you need at least one messy face picture of each child! It makes the clean up worth it.

That has got to be one of the cutest pictures. I love when little kids do stuff like that. It's never too early to get them loving books. I have seen all 5 of mine in the exact same position doing the exact same thing and it just makes me smile. Elli is doll!
