me

Yep, that's right. I am a whale. I am 37 something weeks along in my 8th pregnancy and it is a frightening sight! I know people just stare at my tummy as I walk past them. They can't help it. I think they even make bets whether or not I'll be able to get into the pew at church.

I'm a little bit tired of answering all the questions...you know, like --- how much longer? or you haven't had that baby yet?

nope...and I don't expect to for another couple of weeks!

good things:
tummies stretch
I still have 2 pairs of pants that fit
body pillows - one for the front, one for the back, and one for under my knees

The Sunday before I had #5 Jeron and I said the prayers in church. As I was walking up I realized that unless the clerk slid his chair in I was going to have a difficult time getting through! He didn't slide his chair in! Infact he didn't realize that he needed to until it was too late! It was quite the site watching me try and get between the back of his chair and the piano! Luckily he did realize and had his chair in so we didn't have to go through the same thing on the way back! And I am sure you don't look like a whale! Have you had anyone ask about twins? With #3 for me that was the question of the pregnancy! (Sorry about such a long comment! =)

I'm so sorry. I feel your pain. I always hate when people have to ask all the questions...don't they know that you just leave a pregnant woman alone and dont bug her with all the stupid questions that just make you more frustrated! I hope you survive the next couple of weeks. Just think how wonderful it will be when you hold that beautiful little baby in your arms!

Wow am I behind the times! I didn't realize your were expecting. Congrats! The nice thing is that when you see your new baby all the discomforts fade away.

Just imagine all those same comments during the 8 days after your due date. Yeah. That was fun. :P

Only 2 weeks left! :o) I was never a cute petite pregnant woman either. I had so much swelling in with Desiree, I felt like the "Stay-puff Marshmallow Woman". Yeah, my favorite questions were always: "You haven't had that baby yet", or "You're still pregnant?". Can't they see that you are still pregnant and MISERABLE!?! I always felt like answering - "Actually, I did have it and I'm really hiding a pillow under here and pretending to be pregnant". I think the last few weeks of just being pregnant are hard work. The Lord made them so difficult that we would be willing to go through the pain of labor, just to be done with it. :o) I am so excited for the new addition coming to your family - what a lucky girl!
