Bring Him Home

Les Miserables is my most favorite broadway play of all time.

I read the book, and was able to go see the play twice as a teenager, but I have yet to take my husband to see it --- someday. He actually bought me the CD of the London cast for Christmas and listens to it as much if not more than I do.

The music and story line are very moving to me.

A story of redemption and becoming like the Savior.

Anyway, I discovered this version of one of my favorite songs in the musical and really wanted to share. This song makes me think of many things, but today it makes me think of my cousin who is in Iraq away from his wife and 6 kids.

It's just plain incredible.

Be prepared for goose bumps.

good things:
the cello - one of my favorite instruments
a day with less to do
making crafts with my girls

Les Mis is also my all-time favorite. I've seen probably over a hundred musicals in my life and performed in more than 2 dozen. Still, Les Mis is on the top of my list.

And you're right. Chills over and over. I don't think I could ever tire of this song. Thanks for the share today. I needed this. Our dear, dear friend and bishop passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday. My husband is in the bishopric so this has sent some serious shockwaves through our family. His wife is a dear friend to me too, as my baby shower was hosted at her house this time last year.

So this song has a slightly different meaning to me today. Thank you. I'm going to repost this. <3
